Cognitive Participation
This is the work that people do to engage with a new technology or complex intervention.
NPT proposes that:
- Embedding of a complex intervention is dependent on work that defines
and organizes its participants.
- The work of embedding (implementing and integrating) a complex intervention is shaped by factors
that promote or inhibit participation.
- The production and
reproduction of a complex intervention requires that aparticipants'
collectively invest commitment in it.
